'NIVEA FOR MEN' - most popular in South Africa

Cosmetic & beauty care maker Nivea has launched its 'Nivea For Man' product in April 2003. It carries success in S.Africa.

NIVEA FOR MEN in South Africa is a continued success story. Only launched in April 2003, the NIVEA FOR MEN After Shave Balms made it straight to the No. 1 market position.

Sales were and are exceeding any expectation and are currently growing at outstanding 70% year on year.

To top all this NIVEA FOR MEN just won the prestigious title of “Best Grooming Range” in South Africa as part of FHM Magazine's Grooming Awards 2005. So, within two years, the range has already scooped this coveted award from premium sector brands, which used to win the award in the past years.

Literally thousands of FHM readers line up to be selected as one of the 100 judges for the competition.

Once selected, the reader-judges then receive the products to trial for 2 - 3 months before casting their vote at the end. This year, it was NIVEA FOR MEN that came out tops – a testimony to NIVEA FOR MEN's ongoing popularity in South Africa.

Today the NIVEA brand encompasses facial care, hair care, shaving, bathing/shower, body care, baby care and sun care products.

Sold in some 150 countries, NIVEA products are trusted around the world. In fact, in many countries consumers are convinced that NIVEA is a local brand!
