Nicki Minaj releases Fall-2013 apparel line for Kmart

Nicki Minaj, the vibrant American rapper, has come up with a new Fall-2013 apparel and accessory collection for the US discount store chain Kmart.

Inspired from the styles of Chanel, Versace and Herve Leger, the new line is an extension of the 31-year-old’s over-the-top personal fashion preferences.

Exclusively available for sale in Kmart stores and on shopyourway.com, the collection includes flowing and fitted mini dresses, velour hoodies, sweatpants, bodycons, gold dotted mid-riff baring tops and pants as well as distressed jeans and cropped denim jackets.

Based on eye catching tones of yellow, blue, pink and black, the line also includes accessories like faux fur trapper hats and bejewelled caps.

Founded in 1962, the Illinois-based Kmart is the third largest discount chain in the world with stores across 49 US states, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Other than Minaj, celebrities like Selena Gomez, Adam Levine and Sofia Vergara have also designed for the American retail giant.
