Copenhagen Fashion Summit announces speakers

On Friday, September 27 during Paris Fashion Week, more than 100 key members from the global fashion industry such as Mario Testino, Nina Ricci’s designer Peter Copping and Julie Gilhart gathered at the Danish Ambassador’s residence in Paris.

At 60 Avenue Foch, the Danish Fashion Institute hosted a dinner to announce the third edition of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit which will take place on April 23-24, 2014.

The Copenhagen Fashion Summit will highlight the fashion industry’s most innovative solutions to critical global environmental, social and ethical challenges. In the coming months, more exciting news on speakers and the summit program will be announced.

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has agreed to be the patron of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit, April 2014

CEO Eva Kruse states: “It is our utmost privilege and pleasure to reveal the first confirmed speakers and the patron for the world’s most important event on sustainable fashion. These amazing and influential women will help us accelerate change through their deep engagement and involvement in creating a new future for the global fashion industry”

-Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of international institutional affairs, Kering

-Livia Firth, Creative Director, Eco Age Ltd and founder of the Green Carpet Challenge

-Vanessa Friedman, Fashion Editor, Financial Times
