STYLIGHT, one of the world’s biggest fashion sites based on visits and general turnover, is launching in Australia. Millions of people use STYLIGHT‘s website and app to get inspired by looks created by the community and to discover the most fashionable brands and products every day. Headquartered in Germany, STYLIGHT has picked Australia; home to major surfing brands and chic young designers, to excite thousands of users all over the world.

STYLIGHT combines the best fashion stores on one website and prides itself in offering the major players in ecommerce, as well as localised fashion boutiques. The Australian site will greatly add to STYLIGHT’s network in terms of users and style offering their quirky brands and laid back aesthetics.

STYLIGHT is the best address on the web to discover fashion, get inspired by the top fashion-bloggers, as well as to purchase the desired products online. Now fashion devotees in the land Down Under can post their favourite looks online – including outfits, photos, music and videos about products which can directly be purchased at STYLIGHT.com.au.

Fashionistas can also use STYLIGHT’s signature “heart” rating to express their opinion about “looks” from other users and to compile their own personal wishlist. Desired products can easily be purchased from one of the online shops featured on STYLIGHT. Australia marks the tenth country that the Munich-based fashion company has entered into in their global expansion (other countries: e.g. Italy, UK, France).

The expansion of the company to the Australian market is a logical step for Benjamin Guenther, founder and CEO of STYLIGHT: “Our goal is to be the number one fashion website worldwide. That’s why we have taken an important first step outside of Europe to reach out to Australian fashion fans. Australia is renowned for its creative and open culture and we are excited about the activity which we expect from this market.

“The more countries we add to our network, the more our users will benefit. Bloggers registered with STYLIGHT achieve an even greater reach, with more followers, in an ever-increasing global context.”

There are already over 4,000 fashion bloggers active in the STYLIGHT community. From Australia we have “Chloe Ting” and “SeeWantShop” amongst many other faces.

Last year STYLIGHT generated around 200 million Australian dollars in transaction volumes for its international partner shops and brands. Currently the international STYLIGHT websites achieve four million visits per month. In the coming months, the company plans to expand to further international markets, including Russia, Brazil and India.
