Designer Lauren Smith combines chocolate with fashion

Combining fashion with chocolate, GFW award winner Lauren Smith partnered with Lindt to create an edible chocolate dress for National Chocolate Week. Made completely out of chocolate, chilli and orange segments, the dress took two weeks to make and was then hand painted by food artist Paul Wayne Gregory.
Stefan Bruderer, the master chocolatier of Lindt, commented on the dress saying that “fashion has never looked so tasty!”
The mouthwatering strapless cocoa dress was entirely made by hand, and symbolised Lindt’s excellence whilst incorporating their finest raw ingredients.
The innovative idea cements Lauren Smith as a truly experimental designer full of fresh ideas.
