Greek apparel firms to partake in Austrian fashion fairs

The Greek Association of Knitwear-Hellenic Fashion Industry Association (APR) has announced that Greek apparel firms would be continuing the trend of participating at Austrian international fashion fairs by partaking in the next editions of the Fashion Premiere and DESSOUS & BADEMODEN SALON, scheduled to be held in the Austrian city of Salzburg, in February 2014.

According to a statement issued by APR, following the successful participation of Greek firms in the international fashion fairs DOB and HAKA in the Austrian capital city of Vienna, and the Fashion Premiere 2013 in Salzburg last year, the apparel firms would be representing the country’s latest trends in clothing during the next edition of the events, as the Austrian market is an important European market in terms of consumption of garments, with the country importing nearly €4 billion worth of apparel in 2012.

The fashion fairs are scheduled to be held parallel from February 9 to 11, 2014, at the Brandboxx exhibition and events center, in the city of Salzburg, and the participating Greek apparel firms would be showcasing products in the categories of womenswear, menswear and innerwear.

The Fashion Premiere is considered to be one of the biggest fashion fairs of Austria, and the most important trade event for the fashion sector of the country. Over 300 exhibitors partake at the fair and showcase various apparel products, including womenswear, menswear and kidswear, fashion apparel, jeans and sportswear, traditional costumes, evening wear, accessories and more.
