The opening day of the event saw an exquisite line titled Elohim from self-taught fashion designer Jyotsna Tiwari. Inspired from the seven colours of navratan jewellery, the range featured a heavily embroidered pink lehenga, asymmetrical gold thread embroidered magenta jacket, ankle-length fitted pants and bright orange saree teamed with a golden blouse.

Ace Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani presented his latest wedding fashion collection on the same day. A mix of modern and traditional Indian bridalwdear silhouettes, the ornate line was based in vibrant hues of saffron and pink colours. The ensembles included heavy bridal lehengas, embroidered jackets and front slit gowns worn with lace bustier underneath.

Day two of the event witnessed a floral abundance in design talent Pallavi Jaikishan’s new range of lehenga dresses and lehenga sarees as well as avant-garde looks in Gaurav Gupta’s Lightfall line, which featured saree gowns and lehenga combos.

Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacok wove magic through their romantic range on the third day of the wedding fashion extravaganza. Made from luxe lace, georgette, chiffon and net, the range showcased delicate feather shrugs, ghagara cholis, black and gold kalidaar sarees and anarkalis as well as velveteen textured bridal gowns.

Raghavendra Rathore presented a heavy on Indian motifs collection for both men and women on the same day. Made using rich raw silk, the menswear pieces included Bandgala jackets and suits in tones of saffron, midnight blue, red and royal green. For women, the designer offered kaftans, asymmetrical dresses and flouncy gowns in fluid silhouettes.
