Antonio Marras to design menswear for Emmegierre Fashion

Antonio Marras, the famed Italian designer, has entered into a long-term partnership deal with the Bergamo city-based label Emmegierre Fashion.
The Sardinian womenswear specialist is set to design menswear pieces, which will be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week’s January, 2014 calendar, for the clothier.
According to WWD, the yet-to-be launched collection, replete with modern style sensibilities, will be targeted towards individualistic men.
With a strong focus on the Italian, Russian and Chinese markets, the new menswear line will feature jackets, trousers and T-shirts.
In Italy, the collection will be displayed alongside the designer’s womenswear line I’M Isola Marras range.
Founded in 2004, Emmegierre Fashion is a family-owned business which specializes in knitwear as well as innovative yarn made garments.
Antonio Marras stopped designing menswear after the release of his autumn/winter 2011/12 men’s line.
