Gwyneth Paltrow partners Michael Kors for Goop

After partnering Stella McCartney, Cynthia Rowley, Rag & Bone, Warby Parker, Alexandra von Furstenberg and Matthew Williamson, the American actress Gwyneth Paltrow has now entered into another collaborative venture with New York-based fashion designer Michael Kors.

The newly joined partners have recently launched a new one-off holidaywear collection, inspired from Kors’ previous vintage designs, for Paltrow’s lifestyle website Goop.

The limited edition re-invented range features a gray cashmere cape, a merino peplum sweater in black and gray colours as well as a wool pea coat decorated with jazzy gold buttons.

The collection also includes an array of accessories, specially handpicked by the actress from the designer’s existing collection.

Launched in 2008, Goop is a weekly online publication which gives readers an exclusive access to recipes, travel guides, fashion, wellness tips and cultural notes.

The 54-year-old Kors was recently awarded with the Couture Council Award, by the Couture Council of The Museum at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York, for his exemplary contribution to fashion industry.

An alumnus of FIT himself, Kors has dressed many international A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Rachel McAdams, Elissa, Heidi Klum, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michelle Obama.
