Firenze to celebrate 60th anniversary at Pitti Immagine

This year the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana is celebrating its 60th anniversary and therefore, on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo 86 (17-20 June 2014), will launch a program of special events produced in cooperation with Pitti Immagine and with special grants from the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and ICE.

The full program for June – with detailed information about the participants, curators, places and calendar – will be presented within a few weeks.

Some of the initiatives have been anticipated on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of Pitti Uomo 85, which was held this morning at Palazzo Vecchio, in the presence of Stefano Ricci, President of Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, Gaetano Marzotto, President of Pitti Immagine, Carlo Calenda, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development, Federico Ghizzoni, CEO of UniCredit SpA, Claudio Marenzi, President of SMI - Sistema Moda Italy, Enrico Rossi, President of Regione Toscana and the Mayor of Florence, Matteo Renzi.

FIRENZE HOMETOWN OF FASHION is a Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana and Pitti Immagine project celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana produced with a special grant from the Ministry for Economic Development, Ice – Agenzia per la promozione estera e l’internazionalizzazione delle imprese italiane, in cooperation with the City of Florence on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo 86 (Florence, 17-20 June 2014).
