The latest innovative and futuristic fashion movements that are taking place in different parts of the world is going to be the subject of Rotterdam’s Boijmans van Beuningen museum’s upcoming exhibit.

Dubbed as ‘The Future of Fashion is Now’, the event aims to highlight the influence of western world movements such as post-modernism, conceptualism and modernism on the designs of six young designers from different continents.

Slated to take place from October 11, 2014 through January 18, 2015, the exhibit, which would be set up on an area of around 1500 metres, will feature creations from names like Iris van Herpen (the Netherlands), Craig Green (Great Britain), Dolci & Kabana (Australia), Olek (Poland), Digest Design (China) and Lucco (Peru).

Other than the display from these six designers, the exhibit will also include works of Belgian designer Maison Martin Margiela, Amsterdam-based label Viktor & Rolf, Flemish designer Christophe Coppens and Hussein Chalayan from Cyprus.

One of the major attractions of the event is the Dutch fashion duo Viktor& Rolf’s Kyoto-located Zen garden inspired line unveiled during the summers of 2013.
