Stockholm Fashion Week features A/W 2014 lines

The just concluded edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm featured Autumn/Winter 2014 collections from both young and seasoned names of the Swedish fashion industry.

The ornamented architectural structures of Russia played as muses for the Scandinavian label Stylein’s latest collection. Replete with delicate feminine tailoring and silhouettes, the iridescent suede and silk made pieces were based on hues of sapphire blue, royal red, autumnal green and midnight blue.

Fashion brand J.Lindeberg, from the Swedish-born and New York-based designer Johan Lindeberg, featured a heavy on leather line with remarkable androgynous vibes. Based on a palette of military green, deep red and black, the pieces were accentuated with exposed zippers, buttons and belts.

The range included dress pants, hats, stockings, suit jackets, jumpsuits, tight shirts, feminine skirts and oversized coats teamed with 20th century mobster style hats.

Apart from Stylein and J.Lindeberg shows, the three-day-long soiree also presented creations from names like Cheap Monday, House of Dagmar, Caroline Kummelstedt, Oscar Jacobson and Mes Dames.
