Half Valencian and half Andalusian designer Hannibal Laguna tried to encapsulate his work of last 28 years in his just showcased Fall-Winter 2014/2015 catwalk collection, staged on the penultimate day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Madrid.

Titled as One Hundred, the range featured several silk, organza and tulle made eveningwear dresses, adorned with functional pockets, satin gold nuggets and beading details, in pink, lilac and porcelain blue hues.

David Delfín infused all his signature embellishments, such as pleats, velcro, zips, snap hooks and ropes, in his latest wool, cotton and polyester made ensembles. Based on shades of white, black, camel, orange, strawberry, grape, green and indigo, the collection was decorated with bacteriological prints.

Bilbao-born talent Carlos Díez and Catalan designer María Escoté shared the same catwalk space at the Spanish event. Díez’s Run Baby Run collection, which included orange, brown, red and green toned Basque fishermen jersey-inspired hooded zip jackets and smiley printed trousers, were made from wool, nylon and knitted cotton.

Taking inspiration from Wild West America, María Escote infused cowboyish elements into her designs, comprising leather jackets and skirts with hand cut fringes, sweatshirts, straight line tube dresses and long chiffon curve defining evening gowns with deep V necks.
