Wills Lifestyle, ITC’s premium fashion brand is delighted to announce Namrata Joshipura as the Grand Finale designer for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2014 edition. The acclaimed designer is all set to grace the finale with a truly contemporary, chic and glamorous range. Namrata will also create anexclusive collection which will be retailed from Wills Lifestyle stores across the country.
 
Commenting on the association, Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division said, "The Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale has always set new benchmarks with every edition in showcasing India’s leading designers and their signature flair and creativity. We look forward to a fabulous show which will truly showcase Namrata’s modern design aesthetic. Her progressive and effortless style is a perfect match with the Wills Lifestyle brand.”
 
He further added, “Wills Lifestyle has taken the unique initiative of partnering with India’s leading designers to retail the exclusive co-creations at the stores. This enables the fashion industry in reaching out to consumers across the country thus furthering the business of fashion. The partnership with Namrata will extend beyond the ramp, with an exclusive collection being available at Wills Lifestyle stores."
 
FDCI president, Mr. Sunil Sethi said, “We are thrilled to announce Namrata as the Grand Finale designer of WIFW AW 2014. Namrata is one of the few designers, who has pushed the proverbial boundaries of style to carve a distinctive niche for herself in the fashion world by making strong statements.  This renowned perfectionist will give an exhilarating culmination to a week buzzing with creativity, innovative designs and exciting shows."
 
A delighted Namrata Joshipura said,“I am very honored to be the Grand Finale Designer at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion week. I have had a long association with Wills Lifestyle and FDCI and am looking forward to a great experience and collaboration with them.
 
This season’s collection is going to be a further exploration of my aesthetic, which is ‘modern interpretation of artisanal embellishment techniques’ paired with edgy and forward silhouettes.”
 
Namrata’s collection is based on her vision of a global aesthetic. The line fuses contemporary silhouettes with modern interpretations of artisanal embellishments.  A signature element is her innovative use of colour – strong expressions of colour contrasted with beautiful embellishments. Namrata strives to make clothing that is worn by complex, involved, and dynamic women.  
 
The Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale will be the highlight of India’s premiere fashion & trade event Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week on Sunday, 30 March 2014 in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan.
