Documentary on Raf Simons' first Dior couture line

Raf Simons, the extremely talented Belgian fashion designer behind the legendary French fashion house Christian Dior, is back in news again.
The 46-year-old creative director of Dior has become the subject of a new fashion documentary, directed by none other than the iconic documentary film maker of international repute Frédéric Tcheng.
Slated to be premiered on April 17, 2014 at the upcoming edition of New York’s Tribeca Film Festival, the movie is titled ‘Dior et moi’, meaning ‘Dior and I’ in English.
The film will give a behind-the-scene details of Simon’s first-ever couture collection for the fabled house with a special focus on the creative collaborators and expert seamstresses working in the French atelier.
Simons had created his maiden Dior haute couture autumn/winter 2012-2013 collection in short period of about eight weeks, which is even less than half of the normal time frame required to pull up a couture line.
Founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff, Tribeca Film Festival is due to be held from April 16 to 27, 2014.
