The Woolmark Company recently announced its collaboration with Dutch mobility brand Bugaboo. These two iconic brands have partnered to produce the luxurious Bugaboo Wool Collection - a range of 100 per cent Australian wool accessories.

Bugaboo is a Dutch company that designs and produces innovative strollers, popular across the globe and well known for their fashionable colours, accessories and design. The company often collaborates with renowned brands such as Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Viktor&Rolf and The Andy Warhol Foundation.

Bugaboo strollers and designs are loved by fashionable parents all over the globe from Victoria Beckham to Rachel Zoe, Kate Hudson, Gwen Stefani and Sienna Miller.

To showcase the Bugaboo Wool Collection, an event was hosted by one of Australia's leading wool producers, Lal Lal Estate in Ballarat. Lal Lal Estate is an historic 5000 acre sheep farm where five generations of the Fisken family have lived and worked. Geoff Fisken and his wife hosted the day; guests included Bugaboo's co-founder Eduard Zanen and Chief Marketing Officer Madeleen Klaasen along with The Woolmark Company ambassador Catriona Rowntree.

Bugaboo Chief Marketing Officer Madeleen Klaasen said: "Bugaboo has enjoyed the authentic story and provenance of Australian wool; it fits perfectly with the performance, functionality and style of our brand.

"What has attracted us to use this natural fibre has been the health and wellbeing benefits, the softness of the fibre and longevity of Australian wool as proven by The Woolmark Company."

Bugaboo use 19.5 micron wool for the Merino wool blanket and mattress cover and 23-27 micron wool for the seat liner. Their products are sold in more than 2000 stores in 50 countries. The three products in the Bugaboo Wool Collection are available for sale in Australia.
