Style Fashion Week LA showcases key industry players

Several key industry players presented their eclectic clothing designs at the just concluded seventh season of Style Fashion Week LA, a premier event which is now deemed as the official LA Fashion Week by the City of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles-based celebrity-favoured designer Maggie Barry presented her new M8 Urban fall-2014 collection at the soiree. Titled as The Cycle of Fashion, the collection featured an array of practical activewear-inspired pieces such as quilted vests, jackets, as well as some sequined cashmere and leather made ensembles.

The New York Fashion Week veteran Betsey Johnson showcased her latest fall and winter 2014 collection. Based on bright shades of pink, blue, green and yellow, the bold range featured lace bodysuits, crystal-encrusted leggings, animal-print capes and dresses, rose and cherry print skirts, as well as sweaters with handgun motifs.

Lolly Clothing presented a very flirty feminine range titled Fallen Angel. Replete with effortlessly chic looks, the collection displayed soft jerseys, textured knits, French terry wool pieces accented with faux leather, sheer crepe creations and flowing tops with intricately detailed cuffs.

In addition to the above mentioned designers, the five-day-long event also showcased exquisite streetwear, denim and swimwear creations from well-known labels like Kinsman Swim and the new Project Runway participant Michael Costello.
