Designer Surily Goel checks in with all-white collection

Designer Surily Goel makes a gradual shift to serenity and insouciance this season with an elegantly minimalist collection. It represents her vision of purity, being an all-white collection.

Inspired by the sheen and purity emitted by the mother of pearl the White Out collection is a refreshing break from the deep colours of the fall.

The collection is abundant in dresses - flowy maxis, minis, kurtis and mid length shift dresses. Soft mals, linen, crepes, chiffons and cottons provide an instant relief to those looking for modish yet wearable styles for the humid summer months.

It comprises of a range of looks varying from evening to day wear in a host of silhouettes.

Linen has a natural lustre and looks best in hues of blanche and pastels. “It’s wrinkled and gauzy nature adds a rich texture and can give you a far more interesting semi-casual look”, explains designer Surily Goel.

The light, airy garments that designer Surily Goel explores has a pleasingly simple and gentle tone.

The collection makes a subtle transition from pure, matte whites to shades of ivory and sand emanating opulence and purity.

About Surily Goel

One of the most established and recognizable names in the Indian fashion design fraternity today, Surily Goel , studied fashion designing in FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising,)Los Angeles. In November 2003, Surily started her own line of garments under the eponymous title ‘SURILY’. The designer launched her collection at India’s leading fashion store‘Ensemble’,where she currently stocks.
