An exhibit, showcasing the inimitable craftsmanship of more than 28 Spanish designers and clothing brands, is currently going on at the Spanish Embassy in Paris.

Titled as ‘Made in Spain: La Mode au-delà des frontiers’, the display aims to highlight the different facets of Spanish tailoring and pattern making techniques.

The three-day event, which ends on April 9, showcases latest Autumn/Winter 2014/15 designs from eminent names like Adolfo Dominguez, Andres Sarda, Davidelfin, Devout & Lomba, Ion Fiz, Juanjo Oliva, Loewe, Manolo Blahnik and Roberto Verino.

Some of the major attractions of the exhibit are one black lace lingerie set from the internationally-renowned designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada as well as a men’s suit and women’s patterned skirt and polo neck blouse combo from Custo Barcelona.

In addition to the clothing pieces, some portraits, engravings and tapestries by Goya, paintings by Madrazo, and decorative pieces belonging to the 16th and 20th centuries are also a part of the exhibit.

The ‘Made in Spain: La Mode au-delà des frontiers’ exhibit will travel to Portugal in May.
