Paris Gallery exhibits Cinétique Voyage II

After garnering huge appreciation at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the art-meets-fashion range Cinétique Voyage II, which was collaboratively created by couturier Oscar Carvallo and Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez has once again grabbed spotlight at Galerie Denise René, Paris.
The art gallery is hosting an exhibit, highlighting 12 out of the total 35 pieces from the collection, designed jointly by the master of the kinetic and op art as well as the Venezuela-born France-based fashion designer, till April 30, 2014.
Dubbed as La couleur et le corps, the exhibit, which has been earlier paraded on the Parisian haute couture catwalk, aims to develop a dialogue between art and fashion.
The display includes air suspended colourful dresses along with the Carlos’ paintings that have inspired the outfits.
Produced in factories located in Italy, Holland and France, each one of the pieces from the non-commercial Cinétique Voyage II range is signed on the label by the kinetic artist.
