Organized by the Network of Investment and Export (REDIEX) of the Paraguayan Government, along with the support of the Tailoring Industry Association of Paraguay, the three-day event is aimed at providing a platform for fashion and apparel industry experts to provide opinions regarding the latest trends in the global clothing and fashion industry.
During the event, several issues challenging the fashion industry of Paraguay such as branding and communications, enterprising and marketing focused on fashion sector, as well as sustainable development of the sector would be addressed by the participants.
The highlight of the event includes participation of fashion experts from the London College of Fashion (LCF) such as Alina Moat, who has worked with British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn and brands like Nike; Lipi Begum, professor of international fashion marketing at LCF; and Yanina Aubrey, associate consultant at LCF, who has also worked with brands such as GAP and kidswear firm Aravore, which is manufactured in Paraguay and sold in 20 different countries.
At the event, a special International Fashion Showcase would also be held where Paraguayan designers such as Ilse Jara, Lucia Ferres, Iciar Bravo and Astrid Polleti would be presenting their latest spring/summer 2014-15 collections on the runway.
