Vietnam Fall-Winter Fashion Week to show 17 designers

Nearly 17 young and seasoned Vietnamese design talents will showcase over 800 eclectic clothing designs at the forthcoming edition of Vietnam Fall-Winter Fashion Week 2014.
Tang Thanh Cong, Ha Duy and Quang Nhat, the three winners of the Vietnam Design Star contest, will showcase their creations along with famous names like Cong Khanh, Minh Hanh, Ngoc Han, Quang Huy, Chu La and Chaming Lys.
In addition to the well-known names, new emerging talents such as An Nhien, Minh Hoa and Xuan Hao will also present their avant-garde designs at the four-day event.
Slated to take place from May 11 to 14, 2014 in the capital city of Hanoi, the event will display an array of ready-to-wear as well as high-end haute couture lines, inspired from the latest runway trends.
As told in a press conference, the fashions do will feature an extraordinary collection, crafted from Indian saree and Vietnamese fabrics, by designer Quang Nhat.
The catwalk event will see more than 40 fashion models, including Ngoc Han, Hoang Anh, Nguyen Thi Loan, Hoang Yen, Vuong Thu Phuong, Lan Khue, Kha My Van and Thuy Trang, strutting down the runway in the exquisite designs.
