Elisa Sednaoui turns designer for Yoox

Elisa Sednaoui, the model-cum-actress-cum-director of Italian, French and Moroccan descent, has added another feather to her cap by venturing into fashion design.
The 26-year-old multi-faceted personality has joined hands with the popular Italian internet mail order retailer Yoox to create a mother and child collection.
Named as Little-a-Like, the capsule range features several pattern-and-design coordinated summerwear pieces for mothers, boys, girls and infants.
Inspired from the rich textile patterns and embroidery of the desert-dwelling ethnic group Bedouin, the Italy-made collection includes rompers, long dresses, long-sleeved tunics, striped numbers, T-shirts and printed separates.
Proceeds from the sale of the range will benefit the actress’s eponymous foundation which teaches a variety of life skills through after-school classes to children in Egypt.
Founded in 2000, the luxury e-commerce platform Yoox supplies men’s and women’s multi-brand clothing and fashion accessories in more than 100 countries worldwide.
