Spray system maker Valois S.A.S. posts 5% after tax income growth at €23mn

France based cosmetic & beauty company Valois reported the results for 2004.
Valois S.A.S., a world leader in the market for spray systems for health and beauty, has enhanced its profitability.
Despite a lackluster business climate and the impact of the decline in the US dollar, Valois S.A.S has nevertheless maintained its annual sales revenue, increasing it by 2% to €277.5 million.
Sales have grown 30 fold from the level of 20 years ago and annual sales continue to be split equally between its two divisions, Pharmaceutical and Perfumery & Cosmetics.
Net income for the year after tax grew 5% to €23 million.
Riding high in international markets
In spite of the negative effect of the rising euro against the US dollar, international development has continued apace. Sales generated outside France accounted for no more than 10% of sales in 1978, but now account for 43.6% of the total, at €121 million.

Valois S.A.S. established in 1947, is a designer and manufacturer of spray and dispensing systems in the Pharmaceutical, Perfumery and Cosmetics markets. Since 1993 Valois S.A.S. has been part of the Aptar group, based in Chicago (USA). Aptar stock is listed on the NYSE.
