One World Trade Center hosts J Summer Fashion Show 2014

Eight designers from four continents showcased their creations at the just wrapped up J Summer Fashion Show 2014, a unique catwalk event organized on the 63rd floor of the One World Trade Center in downtown New York City by the global fashion show organizer and supermodel Jessica Minh Anh.
 
The runway parade featured an array of haute couture, high end ready-to-wear and active wear collections from talents belonging to Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
 
Los Angeles-based Filipino designer Puey Quinones opened the fashion event with an haute couture range based on a mixed palette of pink and earthy tones while Russia’s Alina German showcased a colourful highly textured 15-piece line at the soiree.
 
Peruvian designer Norka Peralta displayed several crystal adorned embroidered lace dresses for women and leather outfits for men whereas Indonesian brand HAY United opted to present a boldly coloured preppy style  activewear collection, decorated with pop art inspired prints.
 
Spanish designer couple Diego Cortizas and Laura Fontano from the Chula brand drew inspiration from photography and architecture for their American graphic incorporated and simple silhouette based ensembles.
 
Inspired from the tragic 9/11 incident in America, the Indian fashion house Libas’ designer Reshma Riyaz Gangji created modern pieces with traditional motifs in a palette of black, white and red, while the Lebanese celebrity favoured fashion talent Ziad Nakad highlighted a highly sensuous and ultra-feminine line, replete with hand beaded details and figure enhancing cuts, in rich regal shades. 
 
The J Summer Fashion Show 2014 on the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere marked the seventh catwalk event by the UK-based entrepreneur Jessica, who is known for organizing fashion shows at some of the world’s unlikeliest venues, such as England’s iconic London Tower Bridge, Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge, Seine River in Paris, the Grand Canyon Skywalk in Arizona and Gardens by the Bay’s Skyway in Singapore.
