Pure London to launch Buyers Power List for August edition

Pure London, organised by i2i Events Group, is set to take over London Olympia once again this August as a host of seminars, inspirational catwalks and more than 700 brands come together under one roof.
The forthcoming edition, which will take place from 3-5 August, 2014 will also see the launch of the Buyers Power List; an awards ceremony in place to recognise and celebrate the contributions of individuals and companies to the fashion and footwear retail industry. 
This exciting new edition to the show follows the successful inauguration of the BERING Buyers Power List at Jewellery & Watch London this season; a similar event that was commended by retailers, buyers and brands alike for its significant position in the jewellery and watch industry.  
Heading into its 36th season, Pure London is renowned for bringing together leading industry names across the retail industry, making it suitably fitting for the anticipated Buyers Power List. The competition will honour buyers from within the UK and Republic of Ireland across six key categories: Best Department Store, Best Online Retailer, Best Boutique Retailer (5 stores or less), Best Independent Retailer (6 stores of more), Best Individual Buyer, and Best Footwear Retailer.
Unique from other industry awards in its voting system, the competition process will be twofold: an initial round of open nominations will be followed by a second round of peer nominations, in which finalists will be able to rank their peers across each awards category.
The initial round of voting is now open and will close on Friday, 18 July. The shortlisted individuals and companies will then be contacted and the six worthy winners will be announced at an exclusive drinks and awards ceremony on Monday, 4 August at London Olympia, following the second day of Pure London.

Showcasing short-order AW14 and forward-order SS15 collections, the line-up of UK and international brands includes: Samsøe & Samsøe, AV by Adriana Voloshchuk, Nataliya Couture, Manalena, Lion of Porches, Henri Lloyd, Collectif Vintage, Vanilla Moon, Whistle and Wolf, Lashes of London, Paper Dolls, Sugarhill Boutique, Justicia Ruano, Fever, Sol Sana, Mooch, Sam Ubhi, Golusnski, Fraas Scarves, Caths Belgium, Havva, Cleo B, Geox, Peter Kaiser, Birkenstock, Fiorelli, Nica, Modalu, Fred’s Shoes, Air & Grace London, Yull, Moda in Pelle, and Ipanema.
