The Limited to unveil Scandal-inspired fall collection

Fans of Kerry Washington’s smart formalwear and sophisticated eveningwear ensembles, as shown in the American political thriller television series ‘Scandal’, will now have a chance to imitate the stylish looks of the favorite star.
The Emmy-nominated actress has joined forces with the show’s costume designer Lyn Paolo and the American fashion brand The Limited’s head of design Elliot Staples to create a special range inspired from her onscreen avatar Olivia Pope’s no-fuss looks.
Slated to be available from September 22, 2014 onwards, The Limited Scandal collection will feature some 42 reasonably priced pieces, including wide-leg trousers, chic blouses, jackets and signature outerwear.
The fall collection will be stocked for sale at nearly 250 Limited mall-based stores and on the retailer’s website.
Founded in 1963 in Columbus, Ohio, The Limited specializes in latest runway-inspired women’s ready-to-wear collections ranging from modern suits and business separates, to event dresses and casual sportswear.
