Parineeti sashays down IIJW runway in Shyamal & Bhumika

Shyamal & Bhumika, the much sought after couturiers from Ahmedabad recently created a flutter of sorts in Mumbai as none other than Parineeti Chopra sashayed down IIJW runway, dressed in a breathtaking outfit designed especially for the occasion by the duo, and ornate jewels by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers.

The creation Parineeti wore was a beautiful silk embroidered velvet corset with a flouncy net skirt created in Shyamal & Bhumika's signature style that masterfully blends new age silhouettes with classic colours and crafts. The delicate gold hand embroidery on the fitted corset added a glamorous baroque touch. Complemented with jewellery from the famous Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers, Parineeti was a vision of a modern beauty with traditional grace.

Also walking the ramp in Shyamal & Bhumika were Nina Manuel, Dipanita Sharma, Ujjwala Raut and twenty leading models wearing plush velvets and rich raw silks ornamented with dainty hand embroideries in muted tones of gold. The opulent bridal collection named ‘Eternal’ by the designers stands out because of the rich shades of red , champagne gold a marked twist from their unusual color combinations . The regal bridal collection with timeless silhouettes and rare hand embroideries looked grand and was a treat to the senses.

Adding another feather to their cap, Shyamal & Bhumika will open their first flagship store in Mumbai at Kemps Corner next month. “We are elated about our first foray into Maximum City and are looking forward to present a distinctive destination for Indian wear & International collections” says Bhumika.
