Rohit Bal to show Gulbagh at Wills Lifestyle India FWS/S15

The Indian fashion designer Rohit Bal will grace the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014 with his grand finale regal fashion-inspired showcase titled Gulbagh.
A celebration of the magnificence of the Indian regalia and imperial heritage, the fashion collection, which would be displayed with the 53-year-old designer’s signature majestic style, will be staged on October 12th, 2014 in New Delhi, India.
While commenting on the association, the Divisional Chief Executive, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, Atul Chand, said, “Wills Lifestyle as a pioneering fashion brand has always set new benchmarks in style and creativity. The Grand Finale by Wills Lifestyle is a mix of fashion, splendour and glamour and we look forward to a fabulous show that will truly showcase Rohit’s design aesthetics. His distinct and creative style is in synergy with the Wills Lifestyle brand. This is truly going to be a spectacular finale!”
In addition to designing the S/S 15 collection, the National Institute of Fashion Technology grad has also created an exclusive line for the retailer’s Signature range which will be sold at all the Wills Lifestyle stores across the country.
“Wills Lifestyle has taken the unique initiative of partnering with India’s leading designers to retail the exclusive co-creations at the stores. This enables the fashion industry in reaching out to consumers across the country thus furthering the business of fashion. The partnership with Rohit will once again extend beyond the ramp, with an exclusive collection being available at Wills Lifestyle stores,” Mr. Chand said in a statement.
Bal expressed his delight on being chosen as the grand finale designer- “It is wonderful to be back and a great honor to be doing the grand finale at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week once again. It is a perfect platform for me to show uninhibited creativity and express myself through a collection that transcends all seasons and reflects my sense of aesthetics without any constraints.”
Slated to take place from October 8 to 12, 2014, the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015 will showcase creations from Manish Arora, Malini Ramani, Wendell Rodricks, Gauri and Nainika, Nida Mehmood, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Ranna Gill and Varun Behl. (PB)
