The English catwalk model Cara Delevingne has given a sneak peek into her much awaited and talked about debut sportswear inspired clothing collection for the American fashion label DKNY.

The 22-year-old fashionista has shared an image showcasing her upcoming capsule range worn by her fellow model friends, Joan Smalls, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, on the social photo sharing website Instagram.

Replete with the model’s signature laidback tomboyish streetwear style preferences, the 15-piece line includes a leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves, crop tops, leggings, beanie hats and an array of t-shirts emblazoned with Delevingne’s image and the slogan ‘if you can read this, you’re standing too close.’

The Cara Delevingne for DKNY collection will be available for purchase at all DKNY stores, DKNY.com, Net-a-porter, Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas and Stylebop.com from October 15th, 2014 onwards.

Founded in 1989, DKNY is an affordable fast fashion diffusion line owned by the Parsons’ alumnus Donna Karan alongside her existing main line Donna Karan New York.

The London-born multi-faceted fashion model Cara, who is a well-known socialite, actress and singer, has been DKNY’s ambassador for almost two years and has appeared in more than four campaigns of the New York label. (PB)
