Shanghai Tang marks 20th anniversary with a S/S 15 show

The international clothing chain company Shanghai Tang recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a high on glamour fashion show featuring the latest Spring/Summer 2015 designs.
Designed under the direction of the company’s creative head Raffaele Borriello, the parade showcased womenswear and the bespoke Imperial Tailoring collections.
The show, which saw supermodels like Liu Wen, Bonnie Chen and Zhao Lei on the runway, also displayed a capsule line, designed by two young Chinese talents, Masha Ma and Wang Pei Yi, as well as a range of menswear ensembles created by Armele Barbier.
The star-studded catwalk event, which was attended by international celebrities like the Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and Taiwanese actress Lin Chiling, was held as part of the just wrapped up season of Shanghai Fashion Week (SFW).
The nine-day-long SFW highlighted latest arrays of Spring/Summer 2015 lines from names like Decoster, Ji Cheng, Haotian Wen, We Couture and Oasis.
Founded in 1994, the Hong Kong-based clothier Shanghai Tang is known for its Chinese traditional dress Cheongsam (a fitted long dress) inspired bright coloured clothing designs. (PB)
