Apart from the debut collection, the manufacturer is also prepping up to open three standalone stores- one in Karachi on December 6th, 2014 and two outlets in Lahore in early 2015.
The new stores will feature not only the up and coming ready-to-wear line but also digitally printed silk tunics and pieces made from cambric, khaddar, cotton and embroidered and non-embroidered lawn fabrics.
Sapphire specializes in high quality yarns, knit and woven fabrics and finished textile products including garments and home textiles. The company markets its products to Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
Known for her attention to detail in womenswear and eclectic monotone bridalwear creations, Khadijah owns two labels- the French-inspired fusionwear Élan and an affordable prêt-a-porter range Élan Vital. The designer is also gearing up to open a store in Karachi next year. (PB)
