The Californian clothing company RVCA has roped in the American rapper YG to create a fashion collection reflecting the essence of the signer’s native city, Los Angeles.

Inspired from the city’s key creative aspects in terms of music, fashion and street styles, the nine-piece collection will be available for sale from January 10th, 2015 onwards at select PacSun stores.

Showcasing the fun-filled relaxed West Coast lifestyle, the range features chinos, jackets, hoodies, t-shirts and flannels.

Apart from designing the pieces, the 24-year-old musician has also starred in the collection campaign which has been shot in the sandy Venice Beach of California by photographer Mike Miller.

Founded in 2001, RVCA specializes in skateboard and surf culture inspired clothing.

YG, whose original name is ‘Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson’, has won the ‘BET Hip Hop Awards’.

Launched in 1980, PacSun, also known as Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc, offers youth-oriented lifestyle apparels and accessories. (PB)
