Sigrid Olsen to launch seasonal womenswear lines with HSN

The American artist-cum-designer Sigrid Olsen has embarked on a new creative fashion journey with the US-based 24/7 television shopping channel Home Shopping Network (HSN).
The multi-faceted artist is set to launch a new series of women’s seasonal collections, scheduled to be aired on April 9, 2015, on the lifestyle retailer’s TV, online and mobile platforms.
Based on the designer’s creative wellbeing lifestyle philosophy, the three collections for spring, summer and fall seasons will be made using cotton lawn and linens.
Replete with Olsen’s signature artisan chic-inspired aesthetics and hand-crafted prints in varying colour palettes, the ready-to-wear pieces will include tunics, T-shirts, sweaters, ruanas, tops, skirts, pants, jackets, dresses and scarves.
Commenting on the association, the designer says, “HSN is the perfect partner to debut my newest fashion collection and attract women worldwide. This partnership will reestablish closer connection to my loyal fashion fans while expanding my base of female customers – especially those seeking a fresh vision of ageless style.”

After the April airing of Olsen’s line, the subsequent seasonal collections will be later aired in June and August this year on HSN.
Launched in 1982, the interactive entertainment and lifestyle retailer HSN offers a curated assortment of exclusive products and top brand names to its customers. The company has earlier collaborated with several well-known designers like Colleen Atwood and Reem Acra.
Sigrid Olsen is the CEO and creative director of SIGRIDOLSEN: New Designs for Living company, which supports various creative well-being and holistic lifestyle design related projects that include art, textiles and women’s fashion. (PB)
