Some of the best in the British bridalwear design industry will showcase their latest creations at the forthcoming sixth edition of wedding trade show White Gallery London 2015.

Due to be held from March 17 to 19, 2015 at Battersea Park in the capital, the event will feature an exquisite line of bridal gowns from Ian Stuart. Inspired from his Flowerbomb dress, which was exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the designer took cues from the vintage archives of his former employer Bellville Sassoon for the latest couture presentation.

Designer Alan Hannah’s Floral Symphony is inspired from elements of art deco glamour. Replete with flower decorations and exotic embellishments, the line includes the Summer dress featuring beautiful hand-painted pink roses as well as the delicate lace, taupe and organza made light and airy dress, Venus.

Lyn Ashworth’s 2016 collection highlights her signature shapes, style and quality. Handmade in the designer’s Staffordshire studio, the range is crafted from a variety of magnificent fabrics. Christine Wilke and Jane Hancock, the designer duo behind Loulou label, will show well-cut elegant wedding dresses made from pure silks and corded laces.

Eliza Jane Howell’s English Roses Collection incorporates dramatic backless looks, complex beading techniques and shimmery shiny details. The gowns are named as Lady Daisy, Tuscany, Chianti and Angelica. Charlotte Balbier infused free-spirited Bohemian elements into her creations, which include fluid silken bias cut designs enhanced with beading and buttons, bold low back details, innovative straps and sleeves in an interesting array of fabrics and colour palette.

Inspired by the ethereal and poetic elegance of wild and beautiful English woodlands as narrated in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Naomi Neoh’s new designs include soft, floating silk chiffon skirts with guipure lace adorned illusion necklines and delicate straps based in soft tones of blush pink, oyster and peach.

Ivory and Co will present a gorgeous array of flowing silk fabrics. The collection’s dresses will be feminine and intricate with amazing corsetry to produce flattering silhouettes. Skirts will feature long trains inspired by the dramatic sweep of high fashion in 1920’s, 30’s and 1940’s. The bodices will be embellished with dazzling Swarovski and lace appliqués.

In addition to the aforementioned names, the trade event will also showcase pieces from Stephanie Allin, Sassi Holford, Blue Bridalwear, Qiana, Zaeem Jamal, Katya Katya Shehurina, Mooshki, Emma Hunt, Terry Fox, Catherine Deane, Andrea Hawkes, Savin London and Sabina Motasem. (PB)
