Being Human launches men's & women's Spring/Summer15 lines
Mar '15
The fashion and lifestyle brand by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Being Human, has launched its latest men’s and women’s Spring/Summer 2015 collections, created by fashion designers based in India and Europe.

Primarily based on three themes Block Party, Oh My Days and Wonder Wall, the womenswear line incorporates both feminine chic and sporty edgy androgynous elements. Drwaing inspiration from multiple sources like travel, independence, vintage, fairy tale and sports, the assortment, which includes pieces like casual pants and tunics, has been enhanced with nature-inspired summery prints like exotic blooms, feminine checks, geometrics and water color floral patterns.

The menswear entry is based on five stories- Neo Nautical, Nature Dynamics, Washed out Nature, Urban Indigo and Sports Edge. The SS collection is crafted from fabrics like pure linen, fancy slub jersey, French terry and knitted denim. The products are jogger pants, shorts, shirts, chinos, T-shirts and casual jackets. Complimenting the apparel range, the accessory selection offers caps, belts, wallets and flips flops.

With its global licensee, Mandhana Industries Ltd, Being Human is present in 18 Indian cities and has 29 exclusive brand outlets. It is also retailed through more than 150 shop-in-shop point of sales with its partners Jade Blue, Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Westside and Splash amongst others.

Royalties from the brand support the education and healthcare initiatives undertaken by Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation. (PB)
