The cabin crew of Indian flag carrier airline Air India has undergone a vibrant fashion makeover.

The airline has replaced its red, black and white themed official attire with an all-new bright mustard coloured uniform, designed by the country’s premiere design institution, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

Incorporating the air carrier’s legacy and signature sun logo, the uniform offers both traditional and western style options such as sarees, kurtis and long-sleeved shirts with decorative collars for women crew members.

According to media reports, a primary quota of two sets of new uniforms each has already been distributed to all Air India cabin employees. (PB)
