'Come September' for fashion designer Sanjana Jon's Indian Bridal Collection

Having dressed the best like actress Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky, models Ivanka Trump and Armanda Hearst, Devon Aoki, Princess Sara al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and Princess Olivia de Borbon of Spain, what does this US based India born fashion designer Sanjana Jon have for Indian brides?
Jon will launch a collection for them as also for corporate women bearing exotic designs that are fresh, sexy, exotic, and feminine touch. Her high-end bridal collection, will be custom made for wedding or a honeymoon.
Later, she is slated to unveil men's designer collection also.
Jon is famed for having designed dress for former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, when she visited India.
As for her chioce of Khadi, the national fabric, she says, "I love khadi and have been trying to incorporate it in my collection. However, khadi was not practical in the west."
Teaming up with her brother designer Anand Jon Sanjana left for the US in 1992, and launched her own product line consisting of bridal trousseaus and a designer collection for working women including a 'pret line'.
Praising fabrics as 'best', she says the cuts and line are missing.
However, her collection would also incorporate the best of fabrics and embroidery, says Jon.
