US based leading lifestyle retailer American Eagle Outfitters Inc announced that Tom DiDonato will join the company as Executive Vice President of Human Resources, effective July 26, 2005.
Tom will report to Jim O'Donnell, the company's Chief Executive Officer, and will be responsible for Recruiting, Recognition, Training, Benefits and Compensation for the AE Brand, the New Concept, International and any future additions to AE Inc. Reporting to Tom will be Kelly Kosheba, Vice-President Human Resources, AE Brand and Jeff Skoglind, Sr. Vice-President Human Capital Management, Search.
Tom joins American Eagle Outfitters with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. His most recent position was that of Chief People Officer at H.J. Heinz. Tom joined Heinz in July 2001 as Vice President, Human Resources for Heinz North America.
He was promoted to Vice President of Global Leadership and Development for Heinz World Headquarters in December 2003 while continuing his role as VP HR for Heinz North America.
Prior to that, Tom held executive human resource positions with Philip Morris Companies, Inc., Pepsico, and Merck-Medco Managed Care LLC (a division of Merck).
