Nordstrom to open two-level store at Turnberry's Aventura Mall

Turnberry Associates has developed more than $7 billion in commercial and residential real estate, including approximately 20 million square feet of retail development, more than 5,000 luxury apartments and condominium units, 1.5 million square feet of class "A" office space, and in excess of 2,000 hotel and luxury resort rooms.

The company built Monroeville Mall and South Hills Mall in Pittsburgh as well as Destin Commons in Florida's Panhandle. Turnberry is also creating Town Square, a 1.5-million-square-foot super regional lifestyle center on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc offers apparel, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances and accessories for men, women and kids. The company 151 US stores located in 27 states. Founded in 1901 as a shoe store in Seattle, today Nordstrom operates 95 full-line stores, 49 Nordstrom Racks, five Faconnable boutiques, one free-standing shoe store, and one clearance store. Nordstrom also operates 32 international Faconnable boutiques, primarily in Europe.
