Kao brings new fabric freshener 'Resesh'

Japanese personal care, cleaning products and specialty chemicals manufacturer Kao Corporation will launch Resesh, a new fabric freshener containing proven odor eliminating green tea extract that thoroughly removes odors from fabrics while eliminating bacteria, nationwide throughout Japan on August 6, 2005.

A number of wide-ranging odors exist in households, emanating from such sources as cooking, sweat, cigarettes, pets and semi-dry laundry. Through the proven functions of green tea extract, Resesh, to be launched shortly, provides a total odor eliminating effect on these kinds of unpleasant odors in daily life.

According to a Kao consumer survey, this new product is highly evaluated with comments including, 'cigarette odor on curtains immediately disappears after spraying the product' and 'as the product is made from green tea extract, I was able to use it without concern on stuffed toys and my child's clothes which I have never used any fabric freshener on before'.
