Charming Shoppes to take part in CIBC 5th Annual Consumer Growth Conf

Multi-channel women's plus-size specialty apparel retailer Charming Shoppes Inc is scheduled to participate in the CIBC 5th Annual Consumer Growth Conference on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at 1:45 p.m., Eastern Time.

Dorrit J. Bern, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President, Eric M. Specter, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Steven R. Wishner, Sr. Vice President, Finance and Business Development, and Gayle M. Coolick, Director of Investor Relations, will represent Charming Shoppes at the conference.

At 1:45 p.m., the audio portion and slide presentation will be available. The audio portion of the presentation will be available at http://www.veracast.com/webcasts/cibcwm/consumer05/28208112.cfm.

Charming Shoppes Inc activates 2,235 stores in 48 states under the names LANE BRYANT, FASHION BUG, FASHION BUG PLUS, and CATHERINES PLUS SIZES. Additionally, the following apparel, accessories, footwear and gift catalogs are operated by Charming Shoppes' Crosstown Traders: Old Pueblo Traders, Bedford Fair, Willow Ridge, Lew Magram, Brownstone Studio, Regalia, Intimate Appeal, Monterey Bay Clothing Company, Coward Shoe and Figi's.
