Number of Americans preferring tattoos has increased in last few years, people who want to shed off these have also increased. But laser tattoo removal is painful, costly and sometimes incomplete.
New York based enterprise Freedom-2 LLC is working out a solution to tattoo regret, removable tattoo ink, which will be available in markets from next year. If there is a simple and easy way to remove tattoos, majority of people would want them removed.
Company aims to relieve people who are troubled by tattoo removal. This technology could enhance the market of body art, with customers being confident that tattoos will come off easily and cheaply.
Present removal methods are complex. Small unicolored tattoo removal needs many laser treatments and costs about $1,000, whereas big multicolored tattoo removal requires at least 13 treatments with minimum cost of $5000.
Multiple treatments are necessary to save skin from being harmed by the laser. But just one laser treatment will be needed to completely remove a Freedom-2 tattoo, with expenses less than $1,000.
