JCPenney invites shoppers for Independence grand store opening on Aug 3

"They built this store from the customer's point of view," said Store Manager Judy Riddell. "Independence is a wonderful community and we're inviting everyone to come and celebrate with us!"
JCPenney has proudly served customers in Missouri since 1918. The 103-year old retailer first joined the Kansas City community in 1940. The store will contribute approximately 200 jobs to the city's economy.
JCPenney at Bolger Square will operate Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
