Von Maur at Polaris Fashion Place, to open in fall 2005

Super-regional malls and community shopping centers Glimcher Realty Trust has completed the sale and transfers of the former Lord & Taylor site at Polaris Fashion Place to Von Maur Inc, an Iowa-based fashion specialty retailer. On May 16, 2005 Glimcher Polaris, LLC acquired the Lord & Taylor site from The May Department Stores Company.

The Von Maur store at Polaris Fashion Place will be the retailer's first store in Ohio. The Davenport, Iowa-based retailer is scheduled to occupy the former Lord & Taylor building consisting of approximately 140,000 square feet at Polaris Fashion Place where it will join Saks Fifth Avenue, The Great Indoors, Macy's, Kaufmann's, JCPenney and Sears as anchors. Von Maur at Polaris Fashion Place is scheduled to open in the fall of 2005. Polaris Fashion Place opened in October 2001.
