Perry Ellis & Cardinal Clothing Canada license tie up for Perry Ellis range

Leading men's and women's apparel and accessories designer, distributor and licensor Perry Ellis International Inc announced it has entered into a license agreement with Cardinal Clothing Canada Inc for the manufacture and domestic distribution of Perry Ellis and Perry Ellis Portfolio men's top coats.

"Cardinal Clothing's reputation for elegance will help reinforce Perry Ellis' lifestyle statement," said Rachel Barnett, president of licensing for Perry Ellis International. "They are pleased to offer the Perry Ellis consumer a complete wardrobe, including top coats."

"They are thrilled to play a part in the Perry Ellis story," said Adam Ray, president of Cardinal Clothing. "The top coats will be functional and fashionable, providing the consumer with the performance he demands."

The coats will launch for fall 2006 into department and better specialty stores.

Miami based Perry Ellis International Inc is a leading designer, distributor and licensor of a broad line of high quality men's and women's apparel, accessories, and fragrances, including dress and casual shirts, golf sportswear, sweaters, dress and casual pants and shorts, jeans wear, active wear and men's and women's swimwear to all major levels of retail distribution.
