Badgley Mischka & Iconix to debut cold weather accessories

New York based Iconix Brand Group Inc formally Candie's Inc, announced it has entered into a license agreement for the Company's BADGLEY MISCHKA brand with August Accessories for women's cold weather accessories, hats and scarves.

The collection will debut in select high-end and luxury department and specialty stores for Fall 2006. Retail prices will range from $100.00-$600.00.

Mark Badgley and James Mischka, stated, "They are very excited to expand further into the area of scarves and shawls, as well as to add hats and cold weather accessories. They have found a great partner with August Accessories, and are really looking forward to working with their very talented design and sales teams to execute the Badgley Mischka vision for these products."

Commenting on the new agreement, Neil Cole, CEO, Iconix, "With the addition of this new accessory license Badgley Mischka is one step closer to becoming a complete lifestyle brand."

The Badgley Mischka brand has tremendous growth potential and they are continuing to evaluate many interesting opportunities for expansion in the United States and around the world.

Maravilla, Vice President of Design & Sales, August Accessories, stated, "They see a tremendous opportunity to bring the glamour of Badgley Mischka to the main floor of department stores and create excitement and newness that does not exist today. They are excited about the momentum of the brand and its expansion and look forward to working with Mark and James on a truly unique and creative collection of luxurious accessories."

Iconix Brand Group Inc is in the business of licensing the CANDIE'S, BONGO, BADGLEY MISCHKA and JOE BOXER trademarks on a variety of footwear, apparel and fashion products. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Brightstar Footwear, Inc., the Company also arranges for the manufacture of footwear products for mass market and discount retailers under the private label brand of the retailer.
