Brazilian cos participate in International Fair of Children Fashion

ABIT, through Texbrasil program, once again organized the participation of Brazilian companies in FIMI - International Fair of Children Fashion, and counted with the presence of the following companies, for this Spring/Summer 2006 edition: Marisol, Daya, Green by Missako, Pakatatu and Sol da Manhã. The Fashion Fair happened from 08th to 10th July in Valencia, Spain.
Considered one of the most important exhibitions of the Children segment, FIMI gathered 304 exhibitors - 205 local ones and 99 from different other countries. The fair, occupying and area of approximately 25 thousand square meters, attracted about 8 thousand buyers, from many parts of the world. The exhibition received 766 foreign professional visitors - a 40% growth in numbers, compared to the previous edition.
According to Sônia Imianowsky, Trader of Marisol brand, the company had more than 100 contacts, there. “We received buyers form Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, Russia, Middle East and Portugal, among others”, she says. “I would like to gather Brazilian producers, to make a walkway show of our products and divulge our country as a producer of creative and bright fashion”, she suggests.
Pakatatu Director, Anderson Baldi, emphasized the meaning of participating in the Fair: “Our purpose in this Fair was to contact and close businesses with distributors for our products, in Europe, and we have closed with Spain, France and Portugal. ABIT's support is very important, if you want to place Brazilian products abroad”, he declared.
