Leading value priced outdoor gear and general merchandise marketer The Sportsman's Guide Inc announced it will release its second quarter results of operations after the close of the market Tuesday, August 9, 2005. The Company will hold a conference call to discuss the results of the quarter at 10:30 am, CDT, Wednesday, August 10, 2005.

On July 18, 2005 the Company reported that net sales and fully diluted earnings per share for the second quarter would be higher than the then current average estimates and well above the levels reported one year ago.
