Footwear specialty retailer Pacific Sunwear of California Inc (PacSun) reported the total sales for the four weeks of fiscal July, ending July 30, 2005 were $111.1 million, an increase of 14.2 percent over total sales of $97.3 million during the same period last year.
Total Company same store sales increased 4.0 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales increased 4.3 percent and d.e.m.o. same store sales increased 1.1 percent compared to the same four week period last year.
Total sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2005 increased 13.5 percent to $312.3 million over total sales of $275.1 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales increased 3.2 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales increased 3.5 percent and d.e.m.o. same store sales increased 0.4 percent compared to the same 13 week period last year.
Total sales through the first half of fiscal 2005 increased 13.8 percent to $592.3 million over total sales of $520.6 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales increased 3.1 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales increased 3.3 percent and d.e.m.o. same store sales increased 1.8 percent compared to the same 26 week period last year.
